The exercises and tutorials on this site are integrally tied to the ISU Department of Geosciences. Once GeoSTAC is fully integrated, it will offer a series of online exercises intended to be followed by an on location workshop. This combination of courses will allow enrollees to be completely familiar with background material before arriving on location, and will result in a more effective and more beneficial on site exercise.
These exercises are designed for students wishing to gain experience studying natural features and phenomena in the field. Each module is worth one (1) credit.
