Idaho State University, Department of Geosciences Field Camp
Please summarize your feelings about your experience at this field camp.
• A perfect equilibrium (basically) between social aspects & educational.
• One of the greatest experiences of my life. It was good for me.
• I had a great time- I will visit !
• All in all, it was a very good experience. I learned a lot about field work and mapping. In some projects, I learned more about the rock types than I did in class at my school.
• Really hard-I feel some students made up map data and interpretations that you wanted, to get a good grade, while I told you the cold hard truth of my data. There was not enough office time for me to gather my thoughts.
• I think that the camp was good. All of the campers got along well and made it very enjoyable. Thanks. I know I will go far with the knowledge I have gained here.
• Very intense and exhausting experience, but rather rewarding in the end.
• I had a really good time - learned a lot, wasn't as far over my head as I initially feared I would be.
• I had a great experience and improved skills greatly & would have liked a little more variety beyond just field mapping though.
• I'm glad it's over, but I'm even more greatful for the ability to say that I did it.

• Paul, Dave, and Scott are the dynamic Duo! What a good mix of knowledgeable professors! Great group of students, plus a great TA, and food; so good you actually gain weight at one of the toughest geology boot camps on the planet.

• It was fantastico! Once in a lifetime-I learned a plethora of things- not just geology, but about Idaho and outdoors/hiking and myself. Also living together with people. I'm going to miss it in a way.

• I will definitely recommend this camp to my department. I learned a ton and felt that we covered a wide range of topics. Everthing here was awesome. I had a lot of fun, all the professor's made the time here enjoyable. I really, seriously do not want to leave.
